Harrison Opera House, Norfolk

The Harrison Opera House in Norfolk at night is a nice building to look at, but I have not been impressed in the daylight. The lighting made photographing a bit of challenge.

The only information I could find was that the original building was built as an USO theatre in World War II, and renovated into the Harrison Opera house in the early 90′s

The Pagoda

The Pagoda is/was also known as the Marine Observation Tower, I am not really sure where the original name came from, since the site was formerly a 500,000 gallon molasses tank, that was originally constructed in 1918. The site was converted to the Pagoda in 1989 as a gift from the people of Taiwan.

Norfolk Mermaid Mei Madeline
