This is on the beach somewhere near the Virginia North Carolina border, about as South and East as you can go in Virginia and keep your feet dry. I didn’t have my GPS with me, so I’m really not sure about where the picture was taken.

Deer in the Reeds, Back Bay NWR

Spotted this deer at the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge False Cape Visitor Center. I have been to the the Refuge on several occasions, and have spotted many smaller animals, but never a deer out in the open like this.
